Aoife Duignan is a traditional and contemporary Irish singer from Arigna, Co. Roscommon, whose music is rooted in storytelling, heritage and place.
A former All-Ireland finalist and Teenstar Ireland Senior Champion, Aoife has developed a strong reputation for powerful live performances and authentic vocal delivery.
In 2024, she released her debut single “Arigna”, launched at the Arigna Mining Experience and reaching No. 2 on the Irish Video Charts. The single received regional press coverage celebrating its tribute to Arigna’s coal-mining heritage. Aoife holds a QQI Level 5 in Traditional Irish Music (2022–2024) and has performed extensively across the region, including as a resident singer in Carrick-on-Shannon and selling out two nights at The Dock Arts Centre in 2025. In 2026, she presented “Aoife Duignan & Friends” in Keadue, featuring special guest artists including Eurovision winner Charlie McGettigan.
